CHAD HACKENBRACHT
Meet the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards newest young-gun.
After participating in an aggressive testing schedule in 2009, Chad Hackenbracht and his family-owned CGH Motorsports stepped up to the plate and participated in a limited ARCA schedule in 2010 with success. While Hackenbracht didn’t always attract the finish he deserved, his No. 58 Tastee Apple Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS delivered enough attention to have the top-ARCA Racing Series teams eyeing the progression of the Ohio native.
Competing in nine of 20 events, almost half of the ARCA Racing Series schedule in 2010, CGH Motorsports, owned by father Greg Hackenbracht will raise the bar in 2011 and attempt to compete in a full-schedule. In those nine races, the Concord, North Carolina-based team qualified an impressive ninth at the ultra-fast Kansas Speedway for the Kansas Lottery 150. A season-best finish of 13th at the demanding Pocono (Pa.) Raceway linking the 19-year old protégé that he can tackle some of the circuit’s most difficult venues.
Before his presence in the ARCA Racing Series, Chad Hackenbracht is the 2008 National Asphalt Legends champion, winning 33 percent of his races and finishing in the top-10, 85 percent of the events he competed in.
So far in 2011, Hackenbracht has completed in five ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards races thus far in 2011 which has included a career-best finish of ninth at New Jersey Motorsports Park in May. He also stands inside the top-10 in the championship standings.
