Building off of their 2007 achievements, confidence and expectations are at an all-time high for 2008, as Reutimann, crew chief Jerry Baxter and the Aaron’s Dream Machine return with the MWR team in tact, eager to contend for the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship.
There were many firsts for Reutimann last year while introducing Toyota to the two-top touring divisions. His most memorable moment by far was his first career trip to Victory Lane at Memphis Motorsports Park (10/27/07), where he carried a special Aaron’s paint scheme proudly on his Toyota Camry. His father Buzzie Reutimann, who has been with Reutimann each step of his career, was also present for the celebration, which made it even sweeter for the Zephyrhills-Fla. native. As Reutimann savored the day, Aaron’s celebrated their fourth win since aligning with Michael Waltrip Racing in 2000. In addition to his win, Reutimann posted his second career pole (Texas Motor Speedway), five top-five and 12 top-10 finishes.
