"In 2006, I was serving with 1st Battalion, 6th Marines, Alpha Company, in Ramadi, Iraq, on the roof of a building wearing my prescription Wiley X glasses with the yellow lenses. A sniper round impacted the opening I'd made in the wall, and the force sent rocks, concrete, and dust directly into my face. Most importantly, your Wiley X glasses worked. Verified"I recently was involved in an accident at work disconnecting a 4" steel braided hose with a camlock connection on the end. It was determined that this hose was holding anywhere from 80 to 120 psi when disconnected, and the line blew back, hitting me square in the face, with the majority of the impact to my left eye. If I wasn't wearing my safety glasses, odds are I would have broken bones in my face and possibly lost my eye. The glasses 100 percent did their job."
