The Valor Mission Project was founded in October 2019 as a domestic nonprofit corporation in Texas. Based in Plano, Texas, the organization is dedicated to supporting U.S. veterans, first responders, and their families by providing scholarships and access to empowerment resources and programs aimed at improving their quality of life. The Valor Mission Project became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in May 2022.
A key part of the Valor Mission Project’s impact is the annual Boot’n & Shoot’n event, held in Dallas, Texas. This signature fundraiser brings together 90 four-person shooting teams, each paired with a military veteran, for a full day of sporting clay shooting, live music, auctions, and community engagement. Dubbed “The Most Patriotic Day in Texas,” the event is both a celebration of service and a vital source of funding for the organization’s programs. Wiley X is proud to actively support this event and its mission, standing alongside the Valor Mission Project to honor and empower those who serve.
