"It’s the right insert but Wiley X won’t put the rx into the insert so it’s useless. I’ve been to 5 different places and can’t find any business that will make the lenses. My options look like buying a new set of shooting glasses with a prescription when there is nothing wrong with the frames and/or the 4 sets of inter-changeable lenses I have. Frustrating experience."

"This is my 3rd PTX insert. 1 from the older version, 1 for the new version along with the total set of shields and earpieces of the Sabers and now I ordered this one because of an Rx change and I didn't want to have to be without my glasses while the RX was being done. I like these glasses. The clip in goes in easily and snaps into place with just a little minor tilt adjustment usually. There is no nose piece on these, it is on the Saber itself so no readjusting when changing from one pair to another. I use this insert mostly for my sunglasses (grey shield), shooting (yellow or whatever is best for the weather), and clear for my woodworking and anything that requires safety glasses. My optometry place does the Rx and I have my progressive lens put into it so I can see up close and farther away. I do like that I can remove the PTX and just use my safety glasses since my up close vision is not that bad. The Sabers and PTX have been a great choice for me"
"I’ve been wearing Wiley Sabers for years even before the model change. I’ve used this Rx insert the whole time. I love it. I can use the grey lens for driving and the various other colors for shooting and the clear ones for safety glasses for woodworking. I have PTX in a progressive lens and they work great. I have an Rx change coming up so I’m going to buy an extra PTX so I don’t have to be without my Sabers for that time. People have complained about how close they sit to your eyes but it’s really about getting them adjusted properly. I have long eyelashes and they did hit to begin with until I figured out how to adjust them correctly. I love them."
"Truth to be told, this not my first rodeo with Wiley X, a brand that deserves respect. First pair, also with an insert, I got it from B&B Target, San Juan, PR. I lost 'em fishing in a dumb maneuver fighting a big tarpon from a kayak. I mourned 'em. So, now direct, I ordered the same, so, I'm happy again. Great product!"
"This insert sits very very close to eye. It actually touches my eye lashes. It is uncomfortable to wear. The insert also has very small lens so interferes with peripheral vision. I do not recommend this insert."

"As somebody who uses these in active duty: the color choice for this insert is terrible. My face lights up at night. Why not go with black or tan? Anything would be better than this terrible white color."
