"I have had issues installing the side shields so I cannot use them for work glasses as intended. I have heard from support but have not righted the problem."
"Most comfortable safety glasses I’ve had yet"
"I get a pair of these every year through work and love them."
"I love these & use them a shades for snowboarding/paddleboarding. I just wish they had dark side shields. I still get snowblindness from the sides."
"Best safety glasses/prescription glasses I have worn! The material is lightweight but very strong. The frames are well built. The removable side shields are great feature. The fit is like a traditional wayfarer."
"I am very pleased with my purchase overall. What I like the most is the frame size because I have a rather large head, so it is not easy to find frames I like that fit properly. I wear them outside of work regularly, so having the removable side shields is a plus as well. I thought the frame pricing was good, but the extras I got with the lenses was costly which was the only downside."
"Been wearing WileyX for years and I love these pair. Going to be getting my second set of them. The only thing is they tend to slide down but I ordered rubber tips for the ear piece and it’s no longer a problem, cheap fix."
"Ordered these based on the frame width I saw listed on one of their dealers website. The width of the frame matches that of one of my regular pairs of glasses, which fit ok. However, the arms squeeze in super tight, making the effective width much narrower."
"I've never had glass that hurt to wear as much as these. No nose pads so they are constantly sliding down my nose even though the arms are so tight they hurt, and if I wear them more than one day in a row I will get sores where the nose pads would normally be. Wiley X should significantly alter this design or discontinue the model in my opinion. Have really liked all my other Wiley X frames over the years."
"Got these as full-time wear + safety glasses for work. The good: * Removable side shields * With photochromic lenses, work well for indoor and outdoor wear The bad: * Incredibly narrow width, despite being advertised for large/wide heads. The narrow width at the temple/edge of lens + the stiffer side shield insertion area don't allow for much width adjustment. My eye person heated and bent them as far as possible from the area behind the side shields, and they still are a vice clamp on the side of my head and leave deep indentions whenever I wear them. I've tried on every model of Wiley X and have yet to find one that fits even a modestly wide face. * No nose pads, and they constantly slide down * The removable side shields have a flawed design that causes the retention part of the insert to break off every 50 or so uses, no matter how delicately you handle them. I've ordered 3x sets of replacement, but now just tape them on."
