My glasses came with two
"My glasses came with two sets of side shields. One set has a little plastic boss that locks into a hole on the interior side of the temple, so the side shield stays permanently in place. The other set of shields - marked with raised letters PERMANENT OVATION - does not have the little locking boss; I lost one of these side shields and have been unsuccessful in getting them replaced. I have received two sets of shields labeled REMOVABLE, but they are not marked as such on the shield. I believe the side shields are of excellent quality and I really like the Ovation frames. I just wish I could get replacement shields which are actually removable."
