"I like the concept of these goggles. I bought them for airsoft due to the reputation of wiley x and the milspec rating. . . gotta protect those eyes!!! I absolutely believe they are durable as the company says, but man do these things fog up!! Not a big deal when getting pelted by plastic bbs. However, I would have some hesitation wearing these in a hostile environment."

"I received a pair of Wiley X XL-1 as a gift for motorcycle riding. Since I wear contacts, the foam gasket prevents air from drying them out. However, they don't provide a very tight seal on my face, allowing both air and dust to get in my eyes. After reading other reviews about a thicker gasket available, I contact customer service asking how to get one. That was 4 months ago, and haven't heard anything back. I'm sure there are alternative shades which have better customer care. Thanks Wiley X. . . . I give you four stars for the glasses, 0 for service."

"I've been wearing the XL-1 glasses for motorcycle riding since the day I got my bike. the one reason I chose these over some others was the gasket and I've never been more happy. They keep the lenses clear, and keeps road dust and bugs out of my eyes. I have a better time riding and I can see, which is rather nice!"

"I will just take it as a lost for me since I know I ordered the right one and I got the one in website picture but I guess I have a super old version of the glasses because they didn't fit. I ended up modifying the part since I really needed it at the moment but I am not happy with the fact that the part didn't work and that well partly my fault I lost my money because now that I modified it is not returnable."
