"I own both the wiley x axe and apex. The apex is a slightly taller lense. Both pair are outstanding. I wear them to work in a labor intensive job that requires ansi approved eye wear and i wear them in all my outdoor activities fishing being one of the main ones. The apex have the blue polarized lenses and work very well. Great product"
"The glasses are great and fit well. They are also very clear for seeing. The only problem is am having is the right side is ripping out my eyebrow hair whenever I slide them down over my eyes getting caught between the lense and the frame. I really hope Wiley will fix this issue and send me a different pair that is not defective"
"This is now my second pair of Wiley x glasses, following my first pair. The founders frames designed the first pair with green lenses for work in the power industry, considering the bright light conditions and need for safety standard. The lightweight and ballistic lens quality, along with the z87 side shields, made them a great choice for everyday wear and now I have bought the apex for classy weekend activities. I’ve been a Costa guy my whole life, but these glasses have truly changed the game for me. In fact, over three of my employees have already bought their first pair in the past month. They’re incredibly durable and offer excellent protection, making them the top shades on the market. From weekend class to job rated durable glasses all around 5 stars."
"I love the glasses but the only reason I gave them a 4 star instead of a 5 is because that part of the temple that meets the frame (the wide area) has a sharp edge on the top and bottom. I'm not saying it will cut you but it would be nice if it were a little thicker and had rounded edges. Other than that, I love them."

"Had been wondering about Wiley X for a while, so when the 4th of July sale was going on, I decided to take advantage. I started looking at what was available and was torn between the Apex and the Founder. They’re basically the same glasses but I wasn’t too sure about the metal arms on the Apex, but I went with them anyway since the Founder wasn’t on sale. I have to say, since receiving them, I haven’t worn another pair. The lens clarity is fantastic, although a pain to clean. Just a wipe down with a cloth isn’t enough, it leaves them hazy. You definitely need a cleaning solution or mild soap and water to clean them. The metal arms aren’t quite as comfortable as I hoped, so I may order a pair of Founder’s in the future. So far they seem pretty durable though, so I’m happy with my purchase. Overall they feel very well made. Would I recommend Wiley X to others? Yes!"

"I give them 5 stars because I really like the brand, but with that being said this will probably be my last pair. I’ve bought three pair within 12 months and the lenses scratch way to easy to honestly be used in a work environment. One pain all the coating on the tortoise frame is falling off. Amazing glasses if you are using them just on the water."
